Ketasma (Zaditor) is used for temporary prevention of itching of the eye due to allergic conjunctivitis.
How Taken
Ketasma (Zaditor) comes as a tablet to take by mouth. The general dosage is a tablet per day. Ketasma (Zaditor) can be taken regularly or only when experiencing allergy symptoms. Follow your doctor`s directions. Do not take less or exceed the dosage prescribed by your doctor.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. However if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the Missed Dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Storage
Keep the product away heat, moisture and light. The temperature should be between 59–86F (15–30 C). Make sure children cannot reach it.
More Information
You may need a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatment or you may not be able to take this drug at all if you have kidney or liver infection or if you have gastrointestinal problems. Ketasma (Zaditor) interact with the following products– phenytoin (Dilantin); tamoxifen (Nolvadex); tolbutamide (Orinase); torsemide (Demadex); fluvastatin (Lescol); a blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, ardeparin (Normiflo), dalteparin (Fragmin), danaparoid (Orgaran), enoxaparin (Lovenox), or tinzaparin (Innohep); (Activase), anistreplase (Eminase), dipyridamole (Persantine), streptokinase (Kabikinase, Streptase), ticlopidine (Ticlid), and urokinase (Abbokinase). Patients taking the above mentioned drugs should consult a doctor concerning the dosage and possibility of Ketasma (Zaditor) usage.
Warnings/Precautions
Ketasma (Zaditor) may cause dizziness or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Ketasma (Zaditor) is taken with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Ketasma (Zaditor) Tablets with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while you take Ketasma (Zaditor) Tablets. Proper dental care is important while you are taking Ketasma (Zaditor) Tablets. Brush and floss your teeth and visit the dentist regularly. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Ketasma (Zaditor) should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

Possible Side Effects
If you have an allergic reaction to Zyrtec, you should seek medical attention immediately. Some of the side effects and allergic reactions are– difficulty breathing, closing of your throat, swelling of your lips/tongue/face, hives, sleepiness, fatigue, dizziness, headache, dry mouth. Contact your doctor if you experience these or any other side effects. Storage Store at room temperature 20–25°C (68–77°F), excursions permitted to 15–30°C (59–86°F). Keep away from children and excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).

Astelin is used to treat symptoms of rhinitis, such as itchy/runny nose, or nasal congestion, caused by seasonal allergies or environmental irritants.
Claritin is an antihistamine, used to treat symptoms of hay fever and other allergies. Claritin causes less drowsiness than other antihistamines.
Atrovent is indicated for treatment of runny nose caused by allergies. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Alavert is an antihistamine that helps relieve symptoms of hay fever. Allegra effectively treats itchy/watery/red eyes, sneezing and runny/itchy nose.
Clarinex is an antihistamine, used to treat symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis. It effectively treats itchy/watery/red eyes, and runny/itchy nose.
Phenergan is an effective remedy that helps to reduce allergic symptoms and other conditions determined by your doctor.
Kenacort is a multifunctional drug that is used to treat severe allergies, arthritis, problems of skin and other conditions as determined by your doctor.
